The 9th annual 2022 Thumpin' 5K is back with some exciting changes! This year our race will be the weekend before the rest of the Watermelon Thump activities, Saturday, June 18th! We will also host the event at a new location- the Zedler park (across the river from the mill)! AND, last but not least, we are adding a 1 mile fun walk in addition to the 5k!
Our 2021 8th Annual Thumpin' 5K was a great success and a ton of fun. The 5K is our main fundraising event each year and provides a significant amount of our operating budget. By participating, you not only get to enjoy a fun 5K, but you are truly helping save lives!

9th Annual Thumpin' 5K Trail Run/Walk and 1 mile fun walk
Where: Luling, Texas
Address: 1285 South Magnolia
Date: Saturday, June 26th, 2021
Time: 7:30 AM (plan to be a little early, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area, as we plan to start the race promptly at 7:30 AM)
Fee: $30.00 19 yrs & over, $15.00 18 yrs & under for 5k. $15 for all walk participants
(All participants registered by June 18th are guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pick up start at 6:30 on race day).
Course Description: This 5K course will consist of 3 laps around Zedler park. This course is not paved, but the trail will be graded.
Awards: 5K Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd Men & Women in these categories: 14 & under, 15 - 24, 25 - 34, 35 - 44, 45 - 54, 55 - 64, 65 and over
