11th Annual Thumpin' 5K Trail Run/Walk and 1 mile fun walk
Where: Luling, Texas
Address: 1250 South Magnolia
Date: Saturday, June 22th, 2024 (the Saturday before the Luling Watermelon Thump)
Time: 7:30 AM (plan to be a little early, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area, as we plan to start the race promptly at 7:30 AM)
Fee: $35.00 19 yrs & over, $25.00 18 yrs & under for 5k. $25 for 1 mile participants.
(All participants registered by June 9th are guaranteed a T-shirt. Packet pick up start at 6:45 on race day).
Course Description: This 5K course will consist of 3 laps around Zedler park. This course is not paved, but the trail will be graded.
Awards: 5K Medals will be awarded to the 1st & 2nd Men & Women in these categories: 14 & under, 15 - 24, 25 - 34, 35 - 44, 45 - 54, 55 - 64, 65 and over

Our 11th annual 2024 Thumpin' 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk was a huge success! We had a record number of sponsors and a wonderful runner/walker turn out! Our 5K is our main fundraising event each year and provides a significant amount of our operating budget. This year's proceeds will go a long way to providing quality care for all of our shelter animals. We couldn't continue our life saving mission without the community's support! Thank you!!
